A freshman seminar on postcolonial performance. This writing intensive class includes diverse classroom activities and assignments for engaging students in thinking about relationships between the developed and the developing world.
From Lisa Brenner:
The Community, The Individual and the Impact of Theatrical Art
Students will with work high school students from the Newark inner-city schools in a collaborative theatre-making enterprise. Students will also be required to conduct research studying the historical impact of community-based theaters around the globe, together with a final paper.
