Entry Requirements

Please plan ahead of time for your visit.

When Crossing The Border – You are “traveling as a tourist and attending an academic conference”. Don’t say for “business”. If given an option to tick “business” or “personal” on an entry form, check “personal.”

Citizens of certain countries and territories need a visa to enter Canada. Visa processing times vary from country to country, so please check the Canadian Government’s website and apply for a Visa, if necessary, well in advance of your trip. Those traveling from outside of Canada, including the United States, will need a valid passport to enter.
