Helpful Hints

DO - Type proposal information directly into the online form. DON'T - cut and paste proposal information from Microsoft Word or from ANY word processing programs.
DO - Use an asterisk ( * ) around names of plays, books, video games, films, etc. to indicate italics. ATHE staff will format. DON'T - italicize names of plays or books in your proposal.
DO - Type only First Name and Last Name (when entering session participants). DON'T - use middle initials, titles (like Dr.), or suffixes (like Ph.D., M.F.A., M.A., or ABD).
DO - Type only Affiliation (like this: Louisiana State University). DON'T - use department names or other information (not like this: LSU Dept. of Theatre).
DO - Spell out University Names (like this: City University of New York). DON'T - use acronyms for institutions (not like this: CUNY or SUNY, etc.).
DO - Use a comma between the institution and its location (like this: University of Texas, Austin). DON'T - use dashes between the institution and its location (not like this: University of Illinois - Urbana/Champaign)
  DON'T - add periods at the end of session titles or paper titles.
  DON'T - use quotation marks around words for emphasis.
  DON'T - use all caps in your sesson proposal.
