Session on Primary Text/Great Books Seminars with Undergrads?

Hello,

I recently taught a 2 week intensive session on Theatre of the Middle Ages for a Humanities/Liberal Arts course entitled "The Great Conversation." The students read a variety of writings from the Greeks to the present. It's a primary text course (sometimes called 'Great Books') in which a small group of students engage in seminars. We explored Everyman and works by Hrosvitha as well as some writings from the Middle Ages describing theatrical practices. I am interested in creating a panel of other faculty/grad students/students who (1) work with primary texts in a seminar setting and (2) perhaps use Theatre as an intervention of sorts in courses that draw heavily on the literary, philosophical and religious traditions. Indeed, many of these types of courses rarely explore Theatre beyond the play as a literary form. Please email me at sbskelton@ksu.edu by Friday, October 19th at 10pm Central if this interests you.
