ATHE MTD 2016 Pre-Conference

Dear MTD members,

MTD is exploring the option of sponsoring a pre-conference before next year’s ATHE conference in Chicago. This would be an exciting new offering for MTD members and would offer the chance to connect and collaborate with other MTD colleagues apart from the regular conference.

At this year’s conference in Montreal, Kathryn Edney, Bryan Vandevender and I met with colleagues from ATME (Assoc. of Theatre Movement Educators) to discuss the possibility of a joint pre-conference that would be largely focused on issues of concern to early career scholars and graduate students.

Before we get too far into planning, we felt it important to survey the MTD membership to gauge your interest. We’ve created a brief survey to that end. Please click here to complete the survey, which should take you less than 5 minutes. The link will remain active for ten days so please complete this by the 23rd.

We’d love to hear from as many of you as possible. Thanks in advance for your participation!

Best,

Ryan Donovan

PhD student, The Graduate Center/CUNY

MTD Graduate Student Focus Group Representative, 2016-17

PS- In case you missed the news yesterday, here is yet another amazing reason to come to ATHE/Chicago next summer (and the pre-conference).
