The Latina/o Focus Group is glad to announce the selection of our LFG Debut Panelist, Rachel DeSoto, a doctoral student at the University of Pittsburgh. Rachel will present her paper “‘Just Lupe’: Race, Gender, and Class in Lupe Velez’s Performance of Latinidad” at the joint BTA, ATDS, and LFG Debut Panel session on Thursday, July 24 from 3:15 - 4:45 p.m. Dr. Cecilia Aragón, University of Wyoming, will serve as a respondent to her work.
