ATHE LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE ® - 2012 EDITION
Applications Welcome for the ATHE Leadership Institute® -
Due Tuesday, May 15
ATHE’s Professional Development Committee and Co-Directors Barbara O. Korner, Penn State University, and Mark Heckler, Valparaiso University, present the 12th ATHE Leadership Institute®. The ATHE Leadership Institute® begins on Tuesday, July 31st, at 1:00 p.m. and ends at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 2nd.
Designed for new and aspiring theatre chairs and administrators, this workshop matches participants with leaders in the field who have several years of experience as chairs, deans, directors, and provosts.
The program will provide a setting for exploration of challenges and opportunities both for higher education and for theatre departments within the higher education context.
Participants (limited to 30) will be matched with mentors to provide guidance in leadership development during the workshop and throughout the year.
