ATHE Members: Update Your E-mail Address with Johns Hopkins University Press
ATHE Secretary Sara Warner issued a statement recently reminding all ATHE members to ensure that Johns Hopkins University Press has the most updated e-mail address on file.
At the 2008 Conference, ATHE passed an amendment to its by laws to allow an online ballot for officer elections. The amended by law reads as follows:
SECTION 8.2 ELECTION OF OFFICERS. Officers will be elected via electronic ballot by the membership prior to May 1 of each year. Platform statements and qualifications of each candidate must accompany the ballot disseminated to the membership online. Terms of office for those so elected shall begin at the annual meeting of the members following the election or appointment.
To update e-mail addresses, members should visit the ATHE website, scroll over "FOR MEMBERS" and click on "MEMBER SERVICES." Click on the link "UPDATE YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION." You will need your username and password for the Johns Hopkins University Press/ATHE Member Services pages in order to complete the update. If you've forgotten your username and password, the log in page has instructions on how to reset them.
Members can also visit this page to make sure their contact information is correct.
Warner said, "If members have any problems updating their contact information, they should contact the ATHE Communications Manager, Shaun Sewell, at comm@athe.org."
