Questions about Conference Sites? - Here Are Some Answers

The Committee on Conferences to be chaired by Chase Bringardner (VP for Conference 2013) and consisting of several past conference chairs as well as representatives from a broad sampling of focus groups has been charged with developing a policy to better align ATHE’s conference site selection process with our mission, vision, and values. Participate in ATHE's Future - Strategic Planning Forums Coming Soon

ATHE's Strategic Planning Committee seeks your opinions about how ATHE should address members' current and future needs. ATHE's Strategic Planning Committee is launching a forum, which will feature discussions about ATHE's strategic goals. The forum will open on April 24, and the committee will post questions on it through the end of June. Your answers and forum input will help ATHE focus its work and resources for the benefit of its members and the field. Read more.

ATHE Offers Job Fair as Pilot at Conference 2014 

Conference organizers are soliciting ATHE’s Organizational Members to take advantage of a pilot program – the 2014 Job Fair. This is a new opportunity to share job openings with some of the anticipated 800+ conference attendees in Scottsdale July 25-26. Read more.

Conference 2014 is Interactive

The de facto banning of novels and plays from the Tucson Unified School District in 2012 marks the continuous struggle to define “America” through acts that divide and silence. In honor of making visible these banned plays and the many plays that have been banned for addressing issues deemed unacceptable or not worthy of being read, the 2014 Conference Committee is organizing an evening of "Intimate Acts" at the conference on Saturday, July 26 at 8:30 p.m. The organizers of the event want to hear from you!  Read more.
