Welcome to the members only section of ATHE.org, the website of the Association for Theatre in Higher Education. Through an exciting partnership with Johns Hopkins University Press, the Association now offers:

  • Electronic Access to the Association’s Publications -- Theatre Journal and Theatre Topics: You can view and download articles from the last ten volumes of both journals through an easy website interface!

  • Access to the Online Member Directory – Search for the phone numbers and e-mail addresses of members all across the country!

  • A way to update your contact information with Johns Hopkins University Press – We want to keep you updated about all the happenings at ATHE, so make sure your contact information is correct and keep us informed about changes in your job!

  • You can also change your username and password for access to the members only web area!

  • Access to the ATHE Job Bank (note: the username and password for the ATHE Job Bank are different from the username and password for other member services).

  • Access to the secure membership server of the Johns Hopkins University Press to join the association or renew a membership. Johns Hopkins University Press accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

To access these features, you will need your membership number to create a username and password so you can log in to the Johns Hopkins University Press server:

  1. If you do not know your membership number, call the Johns Hopkins University Press at 1-800-548-1784. You can also e-mail Natalie Garrity with Johns Hopkins University Press.

    • If you've been a member for more than a year, you can find it above your name and address on your annual renewal notice;
    • You can also find it on the address label (above your name/address) that comes with your copy of ATHE’s journals.
    • If you're a new member, you can find it on your ATHE acknowledgement letter.
