Finance Committee

 

The role of the Finance Committee is to promote fiscal responsibility and accessibility: ATHE is committed to remaining financially accessible to the widest possible group of people, while continuing to balance its budget and make prudent decisions. The work of the Finance Committee is focused on the following goals:
  • MAINTAIN FISCAL STABILITY
  • INCREASE ACCESSIBILITY TO THE ORGANIZATION
  • ADMINISTER THE RESERVE FUND
  • INCREASE DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITY
  • ENGAGE IN FUTURES PLANNING.

The Finance Committee acts in an advisory capacity to the creation of ATHE’s annual budget, the audit process, and the review of grant proposals.

Members
The Finance Committee is made up of the treasurers from the individual Focus Groups. The election of these treasurers is done by the individual Focus Groups on an annual basis. Subcommittees of the Finance committee are established by the Treasurer and Chair of Finance.
