Contact Gale
Gale Sheaffer teaches Language Arts in an arts integrated
curriculum at Oak Mountain Academy, GA. Gale received an MS in Theatre
from Illinois State University and studied at Emerson College, Old
Dominion University, and George Washington University. She has taught
and directed at Cecil Community College, MD and The American
University, Washington, DC. For ATHE, she has served as co-chair for
the Theatre Education Subcommittee under Advocacy for six years. Gale
was also part of the original team that traveled to two high schools in
New Orleans for the Katrina Project. She serves as Co-Chair from ATHE
for the Katrina Project.
The Vice President for Advocacy chairs the Advocacy Committee.
