The focus group advocates representation, recognition, professional development, research and communication for ATHE members involved in all aspects of theatre management. The group serves faculty, administrators, and professionals employed as Artistic Directors, Theatre Managers, Arts Administrators, Business Managers, Facilities Directors, Production Managers, Stage Managers, Publicists, or Front-of-House Management, and students interested in management practice. At the annual ATHE conference, the focus group sponsors a competitive New Scholarship panel presentation open to all members. It publishes the new electronic Theatre Management Journal, a biannual newsletter, and serves in an advocacy and review role in questions of tenure and promotion for members.

Theatre Management issues a call for submissions for the electronic journal following the annual conference in August. Submissions are welcome throughout the year and may include papers and articles of interest including those presented at ATHE’s annual conference. Address submissions or inquires to tm@athe.org.
