Registration Cancellation Policy
The registration fee will be refunded, minus a $100 administrative cancellation fee, if notice is received by email or fax by July 1, 2015. All cancellations MUST be in writing; phone cancellations are not accepted. Refunds for workshops will be offered only if the event is cancelled or is filled at the time your registration is received.
Organizational Registration Fees:
To qualify for the Organizational Registration fees, the institution must be an ATHE organizational member. Primary contacts as well as additional members of the organization should select the "Organizational" registration product in the required field section during registration.

Student Fellowship Fund
ATHE offers 50 graduate student members attending the conference an opportunity to get $100 refunded off their registration fee. For ATHE student members interested in applying for a Fellowship Fund Grant, please fill out the form. You must be registered for the conference and be an ATHE student member. Fellowships are provided on a first come, first served basis. Fellowship recipients are asked to provide three and a half (3.5) hours of volunteer assistance during the conference. This will be divided into half-hour training and a three-hour volunteer shift. Recipients will be notified prior to the conference in order to schedule their hours. Fellowship recipients should check in at the Conference registration desk to confirm their volunteer schedules.
Conference Mentor Program
Are you a new ATHE member? A graduate student attending your first conference? When you register, be sure to check the “Yes, I would like a mentor” box on your registration form. ATHE will match you with an ATHE member with experience in conference attendance as well as ideas to share about different disciplines in theatre in higher education.
For experienced ATHE conference attendees, please consider checking the box, “Yes, I would like to be a mentor”. You can provide a very important connection to new ATHE members or new conference attendees by communicating before the conference, attending the Orientation to the Conference session with your mentee, and generally providing a “way in” to this overwhelming educational experience.
What does it mean to be a Mentor?
- Emailing with your mentee before the conference.
- Attending the Thursday Orientation to the Conference session with your mentee, or any other session that you can schedule to attend together.
- Sharing wisdom and insights about your experience working in theatre in higher education and the value of your ATHE membership.

Reservation Dates for the Discounted Rates
In order to get the discount rates at the Fairmont, you must book your hotel reservation prior to July 5, 2015. You may reserve rooms at these rates between July 26 and August 3. These rates will be extended three days prior to July 26 and three days after August 3, based on the hotel's availability.
A credit card will be required to hold each individual’s reservation. You must notify the hotel directly to cancel or change your reservation. If you are canceling your reservation, please do so at least (3) working days prior to arrival.
Early Departure Fee
An early departure fee equal to one night’s room and tax will be charged to any guest who departs earlier than the date confirmed at check-in. The fee will be posted automatically to the guest folio on or after departure. Be sure to inform the front desk upon check-in if your departure date has changed.
Check In/Check Out Time
Check-in time is 4:00 PM; check-out time is 12 noon. All guests arriving before 4:00 PM will be accommodated as rooms become available, and luggage may be stored for you until your room becomes available.

As part of our mission to provide education, best practices and other information from leaders in their fields, speakers, panelists and audience members should be aware that we may record all or part of the events we organize, including comments from speakers, panelists and audience members. The resulting raw and edited materials, including still photographs, video and audio recordings, and associated verbatim transcripts, may be used by ATHE without restriction, in press releases, white papers, conference collateral, websites and other publications.
By attending our events, you acknowledge that you are in a public place, and that attendees (including ATHE volunteers) may capture your image in photos and videos. Nevertheless, ATHE encourages event attendees to exercise common sense and good judgement, and respect the wishes of other attendees who do not wish to be photographed at the events.
ATHE uses photos and videos taken at its events for a variety of purposes, including publication on the ATHE website. If you see any photos or profiles about yourself on www.athe.org that you would like removed please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
