Bruce made great contributions both to ATHE and to musical theatre scholarship and the field and he will be missed. Bruce was a Professor at the University of London and head of the Music Theatre Division of the BA Acting Program at the Central School of Speech and Drama and was the author of the groundbreaking 2005 book, "Unfinished Show Business: Broadway Musicals as Work-in-Process.  At this years conference in Denver, a multi-disciplinary panel will discuss Bruce's contribution to the field.
    A former chair of the Theatre History Focus group, Bruce will be sincerely missed.  A scholarship fund is being organized in his name, please contact Terry Brino-Dean if you are interested in contributing.
