We look forward to a day of discussion and debate that will explore the challenges and rewards of performance historiography and assess the state of performance studies in 2009.
As in years past, more formal roundtables will be juxtaposed with informal time for working groups to meet and discuss issues more particular to their areas of focus. Working groups scheduled to meet in 2009 include Music as Performance; Mixed Media; Philosophy and Performance,;Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, and Performance; Dance Studies; and more! If you are planning to attend ATHE 2009 be sure to arrive in time for this special event.
